these are good with the waterproof canvas lid, can happily carry a full rigging kit on your shoulder.
A rigging rope will run out under the lid if it’s wet and as a added bonus they can be up turned over Mrs miggings shrub so it looks like you agree the manky thing is a excellent example!

Best solution so far I reckon. How much service do you get out one of these?

Years! I reckon our one is at least 4 if not 5 year old.

I just use 70/80 litre pots that trees come in, one for climbing kit. one for lowering rope, one for bollard.

Can get some absolutely wicked very hard and robust plastic boxes off amazon. I've got all my Bollard slings and straps in a box like that. However the actual Stein Bollard is the pain to store. With it being large, and heavy 🤣🤣

I really like the climber70 bags from rescued from landfill. Massive bags that can carry all the stuff you want. Only thing to note is if you're looking for one bag you want to keep it all separate when wet. Put steel and alloy together and you're asking for a bad time when mixed with wet ropes. Just look at boats.

If you buy the stein kit, it all comes in a bag. All you have to do, is to put the 16mm rope in first [to protect the bag a bit] then dump the other stuff on top. It is a good strong bag, you will tire from carrying it LONG before the bag tires of being carried!!

 

If you want to buy the bag on its own, it is called the "Stein Rigger 85 Storage bag"

Most of my rigging kit goes into one of these 60l blue barrels:

That fits 60m of 14mm rope, 3 or so various pulley and sling variations and the 2001 fixed bollard and back up sling. Bloody heavy though, I'm keeping an eye out for a little sack trolley to strap it to.

I went through solid boxes and trolleys. Ended up with 20 and 40l Aldi dry bags. Hard boxes, barrels etc don’t sit on barrows, machines etc as well. Everything in one place is a lovely idea but small, light, spread out works for me.
