Timberwolf's doesn't!

Of course they do.  Silly statement.

Every manufacturer has had problems in the past.  TW are no different.  One guy I worked for in the UK had one brand new.  It didn’t even make it to the first job.  The axle snapped and a wheel fell off.

Lots of the early 230’s had chassis problems.

Take everything you read on the internet with pinch of salt.

Nah sorry, I hear your point, but I know of and have experienced so many issues that I would not be convinced that I could in my time remaining in the industry I could ever trust a Forst chipper to work without regular issues. When they are performing they are great but if you can't trust a machine 95% of the time then what's the point of owning/using one?

I am not a trying to be a hater, just want to go to work knowing I can trust the kit I have.

Maybe consider getting a splitter as well.  This means you can then chip everything, which makes disposal easier and reduces manual handling.

We used  tracked 1928s on the railway, not as good on big stuff as the Heizohack but they went anywhere. Toward the end of my job they were taking a B&S engined splitter as well so everything could be chipped instead of having to wire band the logs. I wanted to make a simple splitter  powered by the chipper hydraulics.

That is a hell of a deal. A 2014 machine with 40 hours seems fishy? Maybe a new tacho? I'm sure they're genuine though

It was a genuine 40 hours. I (Ashley) sold the machine when I used to work for the old GM dealer TH White back in the day.

It was a property company that purchased it and was hardly used. They rang up to see if we could go down, service it etc so it could be advertised for sale. I asked to buy it directly which is what we did.

You could tell the hours were genuine as the original paint was still on the flywheel and all the  fixings still looked like new due to being dry stored.
