Mistletoe Death

I have grown loads of it and I am in Cheshire, just squeeze the seeds out onto the bark. The seeds are covered in extremely sticky stuff that keeps them on. Better to stick on where the bark is not too thick so choose younger branches rather than the trunk.

Late spring is best to collect and sow and by then most seeds still on the bushes have already germinated, rearing to go.

Have only tried on apple but reckon 80%+ success. It may take 2 years before you can see anything at all happening, I had one I watched closely and it was 3 years before the first leaf emerged.

Can I ask why people are so keen on having it, or are willing to put so much time and effort into trying to grow it? Is it purely for sale at Christmas markets, or are some of you brewing tea with it to help with hypertension and epilepsy (or some of the many other claimed ailments it works for...)?

Personally, I likes a snog, even if it's only at Christmas.
