why not buy a track barrow, then mount the cs100 on the chassis of it? well below the weight limits of most track bases, can stay garden gate width, coukd even make a ramp and put a small winch on the barrow. pull the cs100 onto it, move to where you want it then roll it off. use barrow to move logs, then load up the chipper again

Just use the tracked or wheeled barrow to tow it, then you can have the best of both worlds instead of buying a tracked one which does the same but only tracks it about! They don't carry anything but the chipper! The previous post about values is spot on too. Cheapest isn't always the best and quite often, the old adage of 'buy cheap, buy twice' is true!

That the one I bought so far been very happy with it.  Only thing to watch with it which I'm not sure whether happens with other machines is the sheets covering the feed shoot don't stop chip being thrown back out.  Have used an Eliet in the past which has a metal plate to stop this, thin bits of plastic don't serve the same purpose.  Occasional 6" long dagger shaped pieces 20ft out the feed shoot, just make sure to stand to one side.

Just bought one AGAIN £999 inc vat and delivery. Sitting in my garage still on the pallet as arrived a hour ago. Looks decent + 2 years warranty. Had two CS100 in the past sold em as I was packing in - but keep getting asked by old customers to do jobs. So thought would give this one a punt at that price :)

Of course you are biased! You sell them! You would be a Muppet to be biased to another make! I am biased to GreenMech because I am have used/owned them and have now worked for them for 20 years. They were one of the first to pioneer the Wee Chipper market and the base for this thread!

Jeez.... It's OK, we get it. You're annoyed with yourself for promoting an (imho) inferior product... Let it go pal  ? tracks are better in nearly every possible scenario ?

And 2 engines is silly when one of them sits redundant and unusable when the machine is in use. A chipper with a tracked barrow that can pair together for transportation would have been a much better design.
