Just don’t get why you need a chipper of this size in tracks. Surely you can just push it about if it’s on wheels?

I can push my hyundai mini chipper about, strip it down and carry it through houses and even lift it onto my flatbed trailer on my own when I need to, so its perfectly manouverable.

But I'm still seriously thinking about mounting it on a quick release on a tracked barrow....

I like my JoBeau which pushes itself, especially at the end of the day onto the trailer when I'm tired (with an f). Can't do steps at all though, without a couple of planks.
Swivel chute is really useful, yes.
Shrubs fly through, have to be a bit careful not to let too much in at once as can block.
Hi Dan. Good to hear its working out for you.

the thing about it being on tracks......makes the infeed even higher

OK it may not be all that suitable for dwarves but I'd rather pull a lever than push a few hundred kilos about... High ho!

Id rather pull 200kgs once, than lift 2,000 branches 30cm higher

Yeah, still going strong. I've now replaced the drum bearings, blades and belts and fitted that hour meter - just need a bit of updating on the wiring and it'll near enough be a whole new chipper.
