Reading the headlines on several of the mainstream rags this morning.

It would appear that if we don’t tow the line regarding these recent Covid 19 nonsense, Boris is going to cancel Christmas.

Yeah, right, who does he think he is, The Grinch?

Jokes aside the ability of politicians to walk into work in the morning and come out with a new set of guidelines which are enforceable under law with the new legislation passed in regards this virus and have them out the next day has got to be a worrying thing. We are sleepwalking into a situation that once in will be difficult to get out of. Cases are cases they are totally different to deaths. The MSM fear mongering is embarrassing as is the lack of alternative views being voiced, or at least being heard in the media. Now it’s six people, no one complains now it’s talk of curfews, no one complains, now it’s talk of Covid wardens, no one complains or at least it’s never reported. The sheep that constitute the vast majority of the population seem to just accept anything that’s being put out. Lockdown has achieved absolutely nothing except destroy the economy and jobs,  people’s mental health and kids schooling. Has the virus gone ?? No of course it has not as flu and colds never go !!!. Common sense for years has allowed people to get buy, the jokes about asking a workmate loaded  with cold to keep away from you or not going to see an elderly relative if you yourself were poorly are long standing behaviours, you don’t need political zealots or bloody scientists to tell you what to do in every way shape or form. The projected models for deaths etc have proven to be totally and utterly pessimistic to the point of stupidity but it’s never mentioned anywhere ?‍♂️
The whole thing is a monumental farce of the highest order, unfortunately many many fools are still following every single bullshit bit of guidance and legislation to the letter and without question.

To add insult to injury, this cluster**************** is being handled by the same people responsible for the other cluster**************** which is the oven ready Brexit exit agreement. At least if they **************** that up people ‘might’ kick up a fuss?

This 100 billion quid operation Moonshoot  sounds like a well thought out plan ?

Well done Boris

The UK government has drawn up plans to carry out up to 10 million covid-19 tests a day by early next year as part of a...

Quote

Critics have already rounded on the plans as “devoid of any contribution from scientists, clinicians, and public health and testing and screening experts,” and “disregarding the enormous problems with the existing testing and tracing programmes.”

The leaked documents reveal a heavy reliance on the private sector to achieve the mass testing and give details of “letters of comfort” that have already been signed with companies to reach three million tests a day by December. Firms named are GSK for supplying tests, AstraZeneca for laboratory capacity, and Serco and G4S for logistics and warehousing.

Some private company bosses gonna gonna be over night billionaires with this contract.

Was for my 2 year old. Shes getting horrendous eczema  on all her joints. Its heartbreaking really. Scratching day and night till she's bleeding. Its really painful when applying the cream so she fights it all the time.

Gone are the days I'll be needing any special cream. :D Hemorrhoid cream maybe one day?

try and get some goats milk for her. We used to supply a fair bit to local family who's kid had bad exzema, they swore by it.

I was a nipper at the time and when we got rid of the goats and I tried cows milk I couldn't drink it as it just tasted odd after drinking goats milk.  Havent had a glass of milk since, 45 years later.

Interesting. She loves her milk as well. Has a hot glass of it before her morning nap and again in the evening. I'll get the wife to try her on Goats milk for a while then.

Thanks.

I'm starting to concede that that is a likely reason. I wish it wasn't.

I hate being treated like an idiot, and I have always passionately hated anyone telling me I can't do something without a good reason. The government is becoming the ultimate proponent of the "because I said so" school of thought.

I cant think of one government in the West that is not doing near enough the same thing. Ok, maybe not Sweden. :D Add to that what Australia and NZ are doing and the UK is lagging behind in the Jack Boot race. Oz has pretty much closed their boarders, even to their own citizens. I know an Aussie Lad who works in Ghana, had to take a months forced holiday in the UK before going back to Ghana for another month because he could not get back into his own country. Then you have the far east and their draconian measures.
