I have the forst guy ring me at least 2 times a month asking if I want a forst on demo and I tell him every time even if they did me a one made of Gold I wouldn’t have one...I started with Greenmech and will stay with Greenmech...have just put an order in for the new 750kg Evo 165p...have a 2018 150p to either sell private or trade in...sometimes I get the feeling these sales guys especially from forst are trying to hard with trying to move there Machines and are far to pushy....i here more bad then favourable things about forst to even consider buying one.
I get that as well, when I say I run bandit and Schliesing you can hear a deflated sound in his voice as he suggests the sub 750 as a possibility, strange how it seems to be a new area sales guy quite regularly.

So my ST6 has started playing up again. Luckily just got an ST8 so have a back up but I need both chippers out at the moment to keep up with the work load.

The issue we are getting is it starts up runs for a bit and then cuts out completely whilst chipping. Seams to be alright for the first half of the day but then it’s almost like it’s over heating and is cutting out as soon as anything goes through the rollers.

The oil is fine, coolant is full and the machine is greased up.

It’s got plenty of other issues at the moment and need a proper service and going over which I plan to do as soon as I can get it away from work.

Any ideas? Anyone else had over heating issues with there Forst?

Thanks in advance.
When it starts playing up try disconnecting the heat sensor on the top of the engine near the radiator, if it runs fine try cleaning and nipping up the connection or getting a replacement sensor as it's quite a common problem.

We had to buy slide rules (that I never mastered) which in hindsight were Medieval.

The only thing I found slide rules useful for was you could slide the the middle out and revile all the formulas you needed to remember that you had stuck on a piece of paper and it just looked like you were using you slide rule for ligit if you see what I mean . ( in an exam )
