Do we think there was someone with a heavy right foot in a truck on the other end of the rope?

Strange wording in the article too. They were using "tension ropes" - is that as opposed to all the other kind of ropes that are for pushing?

Don't see those old compression ropes about much now ?

I actually wonder if the climber asked the ground guy to give it the ol’ heave ho in order to clear that line. Either way...balls to that!!!

Scarey - just the ' not thinking it through' scarey and the ' impact'  scarey followed by the ' I might just do shit like this again ' scarey K
