Im with you 100% here Les.   Although I dont speak Gaelic I wish I had the inclination to learn.  Learning Spanish, French or Italian would have not earned me one iota more than I do now. I dont even work in the UK and I dont need to learn another language. So for me learning another language would solely to be continue the existence of the Celtic languages, if I was not so lazy of course. Learning German is pointless, learning French is pointless, learning any European language is pointless. English is king. Want to learn a  second language? Learn Japanese or Chinese.
