Turkey macchiato.

Fried a couple of onions and some leftover turkey, bit of garlic in at the end. Spoon of horseradish cream (didn't have cranberry sauce), spoon of plum jam (didn't have cranberry sauce), salt and pepper, pot of cream. Gentle heat. Dribble of balsamic vinegar to finish.

Bog standard turkey curry, which turned out to very good if I do say so myself. Recipe taken from the Glasgow cookery book ( only because I thought we might actually have the ingredients from a book like that). Decent recipe book btw.

Nice. Like an Anglo Pesto, like it.

We picked a load of wild garlic last weekend. Weren't so creative with it though, she just fried it up with some egg and soy sauce. Still good.

We also picked a bag of stinging nettles. They're also very good. I simply fried them with some olive oil, salt and pepper. Interesting, nice, flavour and surprisingly dense texture. Highly recommended. Full of iron and other good stuff apparently.

I should use hazelnuts for true (foraged) nativity.

I've done the egg one with rice.
