I just finished a big plate of bolognaise made with Aberdeen Angus mince, the fattier one from Tescos, stacks of celery, onion etc etc, very heavy on the veg, but so satisfying without being fatty or heavy, served with wholewheat pasta.

And ketchup, and stuffed olives, and pesto and parmesan.

Senior Management cooks from scratch, including making her own bread and jam, I tease her that I need to get a Cow, and we can have our own butter as well.A behive for honey is also on the cards, so far in my dreams.

Shame on me, but no home grown veg, rubarb and fruit only, perhaps next year for the veg and herbs, if I get round the house tidied up  and the landscaping sorted this summer.

I hope to blag Damsons or plums this autumn for jam making, I love my plumb jam.

My oldest boy is 12 years old and currently homeschooled.  He grew up in south London and we moved to Norway 3 years ago.  He has home economics homework and has been doing different dishes.  Last week it was Jamaican Patties, Rice and Peas and Jerk chicken.  Bloody tasty it was.

Ital is Vital, Jah Rastafari.

I guess you can take the boy out of South London but can’t get South London out of the boy.

Hold my Hands up boys!..... had a relapse today, went to local spar for some finger t-cakes for my sarnies, ended up with two meat and potato pies and two chicken and mushroom slices off reduced shelf! [emoji15][emoji33]
health wise.... not good!
Easiness..... spot on!
Paired with mixed beans [emoji6] tasty and enjoyable all the same, because it works out at pretty much £1 a day for four days! [emoji108]? roll on Friday, its holiday time again! (And BBQ time if weathers good again!) [emoji4]
