Local council has just closed many of the   public  spaces; parks and beach car parks etc after they had record hoards of vistors over the weekend from all the second homes  &caravan parks.

Cavaran parks all full  & record numbers of people out and about.

It’s unbelievable isn’t it?

Some of the scenes from Snowdonia and other parks just show how unbelievably ignorant some people are. I wouldn’t mind but most of them are of an age to know better, typical stuck up Berghaus brigade, they’ll rollak someone for leaving a field gate open but won’t think about the consequences of spreading a killer virus.

Oh well, I’ve made the call, we’re shut as from now. Already had two customers cancel for next week beacause of “the situation”.

I’m teaching the kids today.

I think by this afternoon I’ll wish I was 100’ up a dead lombardy in high winds. With great clarts of dog shit around base of my ladder.

We are still planning on doing work, all rural, with zero customer contact.

Stay safe fellas.

Might as well be in fr a pound as a penny  ?

Am still surveying as minimal human contact,  K

I am still delivering, but have told customers we will call when outside their house, they can point to where they want it dropped, pay by card over the phone and invoice will be emailed to them, so we have no contact with them or anyone else whatsoever.
Feels a bit wrong to me though to be working whilst all this is going on.

My missus has been drafted into school to cover looking after front line workers kids, she has taken our kids along, most of them are vulnerable children, not front line at all. If these kids aren’t safe at home they shouldn’t be there, the school is now doubling as child protection.

I am cutting in a large estate with one other cutter, I will not be in contact with anyone outside of my home for at least two weeks. I think lock down is imminent and needed to curb dimwits who continue to ignore all advice to not mingle in groups.

My wife is the same. 24 kids in school today out of about 1400. Problem is only 2 are from frontline workers.....

My wife works for the nhs front line making chemo for cancer patients(on a shit wage), my son is a paramedic front line and so is my younger sons girlfriend, they are essential workers making us all safer and better,  me running a tree team out in uncertainty isn't essential, (money is needed, yard rent, chipper payments etc) I have a great bunch of lads and have decided for there safety and my customers we will abide by what boris has asked and take three weeks off, now I hate being home like the rest of us, (and wish I had a government salary/not my wifes) but if everybody says ,"oh it doesn't mean me" then its insulting to the ones who try and fix things and do as there told, my customers will still be there in three weeks time, and I will make sure there`s plenty of bonus payments to my lads,as I do when were busy.

I will be keeping myself busy doing stuff at home ,cleaning the garage ,finishing my shed etc,you tube etc,,,stay safe in whatever you decide to do.

Exactly this Clive.
What we do is not absolutely necessary or essential in my view.

We are shutting until told otherwise.
