Yes but I ruptured my achilles tendon a couple of weeks ago and I won't be able to drive for about 11 weeks.

Ah bugger!

Im getting surgery on my back in a months time. I'll be banned from doing anything for 6 weeks and strictly enforced by my wife. :D I can only guess how frustrating being out of action for 11 weeks would be.

Yep, no driving, no work.

No work, no money.

And as self-employed no SSP either!

I’ve had the surgery on back for discs twice didn’t pay attention to the six weeks etc thought I new better, second operation less than 18months later. When they say do not lift anything they mean it and six weeks is not back to work normally it back to work and get some other bugger to lift, move heavy stuff. My Mrs bought me a Avant to help with the lift and carry.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll be sticking to it this time. :D Had a Prolape on both side of my L4/L5 had the surgery but never made much difference really. Looking at the latest MRI now its nerves getting pinched in my lower back and also my neck. So I'll get my lower back worked on then maybe get my neck done too. Lucky to have good work insurance really.
