Log Saw Horse Recommendations Please

If anybody has any recommendations for a "budget" log saw horse for home use, I found the one in the link below which quite appeals, don't know if anyone's tried one and if for £22 they're complete junk or OK for home use and there don't seem to be any reviews of them.

Interested in any other suggestions as well although I've got this feeling it's going to be you get what you pay for and I may have to increase the spend

I’ve got a homemade one (old 3 x 2 fence posts plus some bits of decking board and pallet for the cross pieces.

Definitely agree about the comment re: catching the horse with the saw.

I got a metal sawing horse a couple of years back, opened the packet and first thing I saw inside - not mentioned on the outside - is that it shouldn’t be used with a chainsaw??!!

I have found this one to be very useful, especially for cutting a load of smaller branches as well as a few larger ones.

The price seems to vary a lot from the mid £thirties to £ seventies so you need to shop around

Not the most brilliant demonstration here.  Chainsaw could be a bit sharper and he needs to slot a length of  2"x 6" timber under the logs to prevent contact with the metal.

Works well for me when placed over the wood box so you do not have to keep picking up the pieces and you are cutting a a comfortable height

If you really want budget then creative chop a couple of pallets to interleave, or build it from old 2x4 like we used to in the old days. Wooden horses are better when you nick with a saw.

And what is more, when your timber saw horse is looking shabby after a few seasons and you fancy a change/update, you can just saw it up and add it to the log pile.

Now that truly is a saw horse for firewood!
