Yup, they walk amongst us.

Mate sent me a photo of one of the subbys walking into a co-OP complete with protos and foot ascender!

I was hungry ok, leave me alone.

Also used to work with a groundy who wanted to be a climber but wasn't allowed on account of him being a farm-spastic. He wore a sawpod on the ground and had a rescue knife clipped to his belt loop.

He was fired eventually after hedge trimming a finger almost off.
We have all encountered that bloke at some point, has a clean pair of chainsaw pants to change into at home before going to the pub so everyone knows he's a tree guy or keeps all his gear on at lunch to walk to the shop even in spikes. I find gentle constant mocking re-educates them eventually

well i got one in the end, its really helped with less tangles from the saw lanyard, and is easy enough to get the saw in and out, my climbing lanyard sometimes gets hooked around it but still prefer it to my old set up, so glad i got one, thanks for the advice carl

shhh, am i the only one thinking how pointless this thing is? twenty something quid for basically a couple of bits of velcro strapping?

zubat even has loops for straps to go through.

yes its a pain in the arse when my zubat dangles away from me clipped to the harness but ill get over it.
