Have this up for sale on gumtree at the moment. Had one chancer so far, sounds like a definite scam to me ?

Thanks for the response, I'm ready to buy this for my dearest son, only issue is that i work full time and am not around hence i have a verified agent coming for the collection after the money as been sent to your account and the collector will be available for all necessary things that is needed done about collection. Due to my work there is strictly no call that is why i ask my child to send you an email over because our server has been down here at work. I'm able to access my email here anytime. I have gone through your ad and i am satisfied with it so we are good to go.

I will be paying through paypal so if you have an account with them, get one set up and kindly get back to me with the paypal details and firm price for payment:

That stinks, I would avoid at all costs.

This is an 18th century sewing cabinet, made of elm I think, hand carved motifs on the front.

Built in 1700 and something, cost at auction £280 quid.

Second hand furniture costs buttons.

I do hope you're taking the p**s because if you paid more then £50 for it you were ripped off

Really? Something like that and  that old would make that money all day long at our local auction, and people come from all over Scotland for it.

If that piece was made in the 18th century then yes it would command a decent price.

A bit difficult to tell from the photo but it looks more like and early piece by Old Charm, Priory or similar in which case it's worth about £50.

Like with all things sold at auction, it's worth what 2 people are prepared to bid on it.
