Hi Simon, a while back I was lucky enough to get one on demo from shavey. I found it really good for using in my garage on a night if I fancy pottering around for an hour without disturbing the neighbour's. So with that I ordered one from him.
I like it due to its lightness and nimbleness . I've also got a dolmar ps32 with carving bar that I use occasionally. But as I said earlier, I've only just started to really have a go at carving.
I'm currently on holiday at the moment, when I get back I will post some pictures of my carving tools, just to give others an idea of equipment used.

Birmingham  seems a logical choice for diving ....close to the coast ?  ?
