Which month do you start using your stove again?

I have lit our stove this past few mornings, akinda justified because

(i)the wife is female,

and

(ii) akinda sedentary/couch bound (plus there were racks of clothes to dry)

BUT

The sweat bes proper roping off me when I come back inside,

However  27 to 30 plus deg C does NOT BOTHER her.

Astoundingly she has even taken to re-firing the Stove herself "just in case".

Hell must sure suit the gentler sex.(Could Satan be female even?)

right, stacks are tarped, ive a few totes of wood in and ive split 3 large sacks of kindling.  I'm ready to go.  I like chainsawing, fiskaring and for kindling  its more fun now i've got a better hatchet but its the volume.. with 2 small stoves of my own, and mum to supply for hers, i split a lot of kindling. I shall be experimenting with a few other lighting methods this winter....fire lighters and blow torches for 2....although it feels wrong!
