Trees just aren’t growing due to ‘uncertainty over Brexit’.

Its been quieter than normal shop wise, fairly good online but I would expect it to be busy this time of year.

Maybe its to do with the early Easter, strange summer then autumn weather patterns and the return of GOT.

Glad I'm not the only one, the last couple of weeks have been flat after being mad for well over a year or more. Started getting hedge trimmers in but the usual enquiries have noticeably dropped off. Thought I had rebuilt all the MS200Ts in England now and that was the reason!

Been a quiet year for me so far as new jobs are concerned, by Christmas my diary was full till mid April but since Christmas I've only had around 3 weeks of additional work come in. It seems to be picking up slightly at the moment but not really enough to notice. Just taking the good with the bad now and not getting too stressed over it. I've had a good run for a while, it's actually quite nice to start having a mess around fabricating stuff and making stuff from timber instead of just work all the time

Stopped working for one guy due to his aversion to paying up. At the same time, a landscaper friend needed some felling done then some chainsaw carpentry for a garden build. We work well together so filled the diary gaps working with him which is less heavy going than solid tree work.

Went quiet second week of April. Got a bit on for May. Hoping 2 big jobs land on my lap. On holidays in Scotland atm and going to the Isle of Man TT at the end if the month.
