Anyone want to volunteer any opinions, looking at the Zarges Tubesca 7, but it looks "wile" flimsy, would I be better sticking to a galvanised steel tower, from the likes of TopTower?

If I need a tower I use me dads which he bought with his father at least 40 years ago. Steel galvanized, thick steel and flipping heavy is the downside. Your choice depends how you rate portability vs longevity.

Galvanized would be great but we have a cheapish plain steel one and yes it's a bit rusty and can be hard to knock apart but it works and has done for 20 odd years. When it does succumb it will be replaced with a galvanized one. No idea on brands I am afraid

Thanks but there is not the tolerance in the sockets for the thickness of galvanised

Unfortunately not galvanised, but I've got a steel tower from Quickfit Scaffold Towers, they make them at their place in Shipley near Bradford.

They're a good company to deal with, and over the years I have added more parts to it, extra frames, wheels, outriggers. And last year a set of half size frames, to make a rectangle pair of towers to go up a narrow gap.

I had the Youngman its the best industrial one going I bought it refurbished from a firm in Bradford for not much more than   Zarges Tubesca 7 are advertising for they are mainly DIY also it did not state the SWL of it has to be 150 kg in my previous life I was a fully qualified scaffolder and came across quite a few different makes but the Youngman was the best and easiest to erect
