to put the birch into context the harvesting contractor had left tree on interface with remaining woodland, only chestnut coppice stools remain to hopefully regrow in what will be replanted area,  oak another site

@arbwork thats a tidy site mate - Birch make great Standing Deadwoods, pity they dont last tho'  got a few nice Beeches i want to turn into SDw's  on new site, maybe in  Spring, too muddy at the mo,  K
