Never been scared , don't really like horror films , they seem kinda stupid to me . The one thing I remember that made me jump was when the head flopped through the  hole in the sunken boat in one of the Jaws films . I was in the  cinema and everyone jumped .

I nearly jumped out my fkin seat at the cinema LOL...

Some times a great notion , the book is my favourite... the film to me is gold..
Basically about a family of loggers trying to fill there current contract, the union has all the other loggers on strike but the stamper firm who “never give an inch “ carry on logging to the anger of the town...in this scene hanks just had all his logging equipment sabotaged and burnt out by the union so he takes his revenge !

Gonna have to watch murphys war later !

Yep read the book a long time before I saw the film . I was fascinated by the different types of type on the page denoting thought , speech,  past and present .  Read it coz I liked One Flew Over .... Did they not change the film title to " Never Give an Inch " ?

I think they did release it as never give an inch in different country’s , hard to get a copy as Paul Newman didn’t agree with old growth logging later in life and tried to get his film banned.. or so I have heard.
Agree stubby the book is better ... the film is good though despite the American theatrical trailer for it makes it look horrific it still sort of shows the characters in the way kesay portrays them although I think the book is better as it shares there thoughts.
