I was told by an AT member that he used to work for another AT member that never spoke about anything apart from the job they were doing that day, no small talk of any kind. Seems bizarre to me. But then again, he who's got the funds makes the rules.

Wow, must be a total yawn fest.

why should a freelancer have to mix and supply their own fuel and oil because a staff member can't do the most basic of jobs?

So that their saw does not get shagged .

I'd be taking it up with the owner. Obviously it's helpful if their saws seized too, otherwise who's to say it wasn't something else.

To be fair, in my opinion a freelancer should supply their own fuel.

In this instance I chose to use their fuel so didn't really feel I could ask for a replacement.

At the end of my day it was 100% my fault for putting any amount of trust in a couple of people I knew to be complete numptys

Lad who freelances for us said he turned up on site last week with a 20l can of mixed fuel and noticed the guy he was working for filling up his cans with it at the end of the day ... apparently if you charge more for your own fuel as a freelancer at the end of the day it belongs to who your working for!

Hahahaha that’s a shocker [emoji43] so he was unknowingly supplying fuel for the whole job and probably most of the week.
