Or those who point blank deny it!

Actually this is probbaly my single biggest pet peeve and i've witnessed it time and time again over the years.

'How did that dent in the truck happen?' 'dunno'
'Who broke that saw?' 'dunno, I didn't use it last'

etc etc....SOMEONE always knows.

I had a 460 seize a couple of years ago after being run on neat fuel, every single one of the staff(4 in total) denied being the ones who mixed the fuel.  Pretty sure it was 1 of 2 people, but what can you do in that situation?

Regarding the 460, the staff were all telling the truth.
As no one had mixed the fuel.
All guilty.

When ground guys tie on a block with the rigging line separate and not threaded and ready to go.

Always set mine up ready to go if I’m likely to need it.

you can reduce various annoyances with a bit of planning :)

People who like to have lengthy, deep convo's in the truck on the way into work first thing in the morning!

""for god sake STFU while I attempt to slowly abandon my suicidal ideation""

I was told by an AT member that he used to work for another AT member that never spoke about anything apart from the job they were doing that day, no small talk of any kind. Seems bizarre to me. But then again, he who's got the funds makes the rules.

I'd be taking it up with the owner. Obviously it's helpful if their saws seized too, otherwise who's to say it wasn't something else.

Mix your own fuel .

why should a freelancer have to mix and supply their own fuel and oil because a staff member can't do the most basic of jobs?

I get where you are coming from, but I'd mix my own fuel at the start of the day. Letting someone loose on your tools when you are a subby/freelancer is asking for trouble, even if the main contractor was supplying the fuel/oil.
