One of my clients had a problem with rooks nesting in one of his trees, tree was tpo'd, inspector recommended that we cut out 1 of branches forming forks from each of the 3 pronged forks, if you catch my drift?! this prevents them forming a nest in a nice cupped shaped, multi stemmed fork. it worked for many years.

a long pole nock the nests out as they build them

In the UK that would be illegal no matter what the species.  Check out the RSPB website.

Probably shouldn't let their kids outside at all if worried about some birds In trees above a swing.

I don't know about that.  There could be valid health concerns.  I was once told humans can get botulism from Pigeon crap.  Can't find anything about that specifically online though.

Don't think so, perfectly legal to shoot some corvid soecies as they sit on the nest, and is widely done for crow conrol.

All legal as long as u comply withe the terms of th General Licence u are using

Mibee if u said wot bird species is sitting there it might help, bt to be honest it just wot birds do.

Ur cd's or hawk things might be worth of shot.

Is there a reason why there sitting in that tree, nearby food? If so take that away
