Can't remember the model number but it was one of the older style Dolmars about 14 years ago I guess.  60cc(ish) saw running a 15" bar.  It certainly cut through timber!  Was quite heavy compared to the equivelant husky and stihl saws of the day though

Early saws were Homelite, the local dealer looked after them. Then Echo, they made a blinding two cylinder! Then Stihl and still have a 20 year old 088 and thirty year old 090!

I remember That ! What the hell was that Echo saw ? It looked a beast in the shops . Flat twin like a BMW ? K

Was it 6600 EVL? Flat twin indeed, thirsty but powerful.

Stihl 038 for 100 quid, way ba k in 2016... Runs rough and was too powerful for what I needed! In the process of giving it some tlc...

Bought a 550xp and I've experienced none of the new carb issues, run it all day every day!
