Protecting mobile phones

Apologies if this has been covered before but my search on here didn't give me an answer.

 

Has anyone found a mobile phone case that works for our industry?

Apart from the occasional plummet, I really want to be able to put my phone in a pocket which also has sawdust, leaf fragments etc, so the standard type with openings for the charger etc is no good (I've lost several phones because the charging socket is full of crud).

 

All I want out of life is a robust cover, with the camera lens uncovered, the ability to answer and make calls easily and all other ports protected.

 

Fone stuff do one for about £10.00 which looks OK

Anyone tried one or got any other suggestions.

I bought a sh*t £10 pay as you go, as a suicide site phone.
5 years later still working.
I try to keep my iPhone in a zip seal bag. ( works in monsoons).
Lunatik and griffon do expensive protectors.

I had a Griffin Survivor it was good but quite bulky, alright in a jacket pocket or a leg pocket in a pair of trousers. I would want it in the pocket of a pair of jeans mind.

Otter box defender. Ran over my iPhone accidentally in the car. The case saved the phone, not a scratch. I wouldn’t use anything else.

Otter Box range has some truly indestructible, but quite bulky (and rather pricey) covers.  I used to take the phone out of the box when in less challenging scenarios to cut down the bulkiness....

I usually fit a tempered glass front and a then case like this, had two now and slung the phone down on concrete before and had it survive with no issues. The one I have now was an ebay special for about £4.00 and has rubber plug flaps that seal the charging points.

Go for an otter box, my galaxy s6 has taken a pasting for 2 years in the otter box symmetry without so much as a scratch. Been dropped and thrown about loads and no breakages

I had a symmetry on an S6 and now have one on my s8.

I've got a Lifeproof Fre. 30 quid on eBay. Waterproof and dust and dirt proof. Phone fell out of my pocket from about 20 ft and fine
