Aye, I know it was the Mohawks who were renowned for having no fear of heights.

I just remember reading that the fella was Navaho.

 

Further research has revealed he may also be Swedish. Or Irish.

 

And the whole Mohawk head for heights this is possibly a myth that the Mohawks perpetuated so they could get jobs for their mates!

 

Bloody big sets of nads on them, wherever they were from.

Why do so many think vertigo is a fear of heights ??


My nan suffers from vertigo and she can't walk in my kids bedroom without feeling like she will fall over because of the pattern of the carpet.

Nothing to do with heights I think it's the brains depth perception. Or poor balance caused by something in the inner ear.
