I know everyone does it but I'm amazed. If someone goes up you'll watch them burn to death potentially and there'd be nothing you could do about it. 

 

How many times I've spilled a bit of fuel on myself and minutes later I'm oblivious to it. 

 

I'm going to get people to read a risk assessment on it and sign that they wont smoke in trees and then it's up to them if they then want to smoke in trees.

Personally I think that having a cig in a tree is the most dangerous thing about climbing...

I never use Aspen. Way too expensive. I just hold my breath and hope for the best ;-)

You'd be better off taking up tabs. Only up the tree mind, you don't explode as well on the ground.
