New Hilux Review

Just look at it! :tdown::puke:

I had a demo l200 on a 52 plate and could not understand why anyone would buy one. Even in those days servicing was every 3500 miles. They have not appealed to me since although maybe I should give them a chance. A new shogun suits my needs and budget but I read so many bad reviews on line they scared me off.

I borrowed a brand new one on the weekend to tow a little 6" chipper to a port.

I found that it was woefully underpowered,towing even 700kg sucked all the life out of the engine.

The cab was pretty cramped in the front with two 6`plus blokes in it.

I think if you wanted a wagon to ponce about the high street in,then its a winner.But for serious work you might look for something else.

What is it with motor dealers? They are either woeful or superb! GreenMech have had such a poor Ranger dealer (we had five in one year), that when we change, Ford will not get a look in!

Yet to stumble across the superb one! 🤔

The old Isuzu dealer in Leicester was always good and reasonably priced and Shepshed Ford did me a favour by fitting pattern disc brakes as Ford bits were unreasonably expensive! So they can be out there! Bristol Street in Redditch are very much the other end of the scale mind!
