I don't think my wife has the foggiest what kit or machinery I have! I used to try and 'discuss' purchases but find theres no point, I can see her eyes glazing over and would probably prefer to be watching Corrie or something. So I'm quite happy with that arrangement.

OP just needs to man up a bit I reckon.

i know that feeling, how many rugs does a horse need,.????:laugh1:

weatherbeater @ that :001_tongue:

That's like asking the wife how many pairs of shoes does she 'need'? After all, she's only got one pair of feet!

At the last count, I think there's eighty plus pairs stored in special boxes in the spare room.

Maybe I'm just lucky that we just spend our money on what we 'need'

I'm genuinely baffled by the level of patriarchal sexist bull spouted here.

"she needs to get **** told" told what? to be quiet or you'll boot her?

"man up" wtf does "man up"even mean, establishing oneself as a dominant power?

Whenever my purchases were questioned by my wife I'd explain why I chose what. The same would go for her purchases. Something to do with being equal partners in our marriage and equal in life generally....
