Take her shoe shopping at somewhere expensive (missus says: Dune, Jimmy choo etc)

Then when she's drooling over a super sexy pair of something drag her down to shoe zone and tell her she can choose some cheaper ones.

man up and just lie about the cost like me, then squeeze in a cheeky little fell job to pay for them and claim you were out pricing a job.......which unfortunately didn't come through.

The other half has about 20 horses, more saddles than i can keep track of and horse jackets by the dozen. If i buy another saw (as in, a total of 3 or 4 in all), it's "why do you need another one??"

Best policy is, just buy Pfanners and say nothing till the credit card bill comes up

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
