Baler twine. no real damage but one hell of a shock when the saw locked half way through a felling cut.

Glass can be interesting. Could not work out what a had hit as no chatter like hitting metal or rattle like stone. Was in the base of tree How it got is anyone's guess

Can't comment on a chainsaw but you don't want to hit a discarded nappy with a brush cutter. Believe me.

 

I'm told a plastic bottle of fermented "Scania Scotch" on the side of the road can be just as unpleasant.

cattle- a neighbour once cut up a cow that died, into sections to feed to the farmers dogs, sticky smelly.

 

although if one was to hit a bomb in a tree, leftover from a war it wouldnt be great either

For me it has to be a stem that had its cavities filled with concrete.

 

strimming badger poo isn't a pleasant experience either ..............
