You can see the difference better from the other side of the chain. The full chisel has a square top edge not rounded like the semi.

I dont think that is the debate anymore . We are all agreed one is full chisel and one is semi chisel . The debate is now...... is one round ground and one square ground ? :001_smile:

To me it looks like it was sharpened with a thin grinder. The straight part is from the side of the grinding disk and the curve at the bottom is radius on the rim of the outside of the disk.

I would say it most definitely is semi chisel. The first pictures shows that clearly Mick. The grind on the face looks square as opposed to a nice crescent.
