Well I'm dealing in facts.. Jews and Asians have the highest IQ closely followed by Europeans... There might be a correlation between acting on feeling with a lower IQ as apposed to acting on rational thought for the higher IQ individual..

 

Individual or nationality, same thing really, for instance, Australia has lower IQ percentage wise than Britain... shipping all our criminals out there has had an effect on their overall IQ scores....

 

 

Theres always the argument about environment as opposed to natural ability.. lack of education lowering the average IQ... but, are we putting the horse before the cart??.......

 

 

Back to my point, a man acting on feelings is more likely to turn to violence than a man acting on rational thought.... considering their average IQ, then is it any wonder these people go about blowing up all an sundry.. is it any wonder they'll believe in religious nonsense long after everyone else has thrown that rubbish in the dustbin of history..

I was christened yet saw church at Christmas and Easter through school. Was I christened because that was the done thing in those days? Part of me thinks so.

I think that everyone should choose their own path which is why I've not told my kids that I think the bible is a big fairy tale! But if it can give people hope etc then that's good, just not for me.

If any of my children felt the need for the crutch of religion I would happily support their need, my parents and brother are still "of faith" and I respect their stance

 

But up until now my children seem pretty happy with life defined by facts and science and have not as yet seemed to need any thing of a more mystical nature to plug any god shaped holes
