The makita riviter looks awful for the money!

Get yourself the milwaukee,  it's a brilliant tool, great value and gets you into the whole m12 range 👍👍👍

Indeed it does look awful, and what a price! Although the Milwaukee is undoubtedly a better and more useful design, the last thing I want to do is introduce another battery platform, considering that every battery tool I currently have fits every battery I currently have. Hence the appeal of the Ebay Specials at £50.

These are pretty handy too, there's 8 there, I must have another couple somewhere. And 6 m12 milwaukees.

If you really want to go as cordless as possible it's not cheap..

I'm a big fan (and big user now) of Milwaukee M18 tools, and in terms of quality and range think they are hard to beat. I love my impact wrenches (all of them, 3/8 to 1"), the Portaband is one of those "don't know how I coped before I had one" tools, and the mag drill is awe-inspiring in terms of what it can do on a single battery. The Milwaukee angle grinders are superb as well.

Can you imagine a lass at one of those 1970’s swinging ‘car key’ parties you used to hear about?

If she pulled out the average arb’s key ring she’d think she was going home with a jailer!
