Anyone imported a vehicle from the US? I’m looking at importing a 1973/78 Ford F250 and was wondering if anyone’s had any experience, I believe as it’s a classic I’ll only pay 5% duty but I’m unclear about DVLA reg etc TIA

I've got a ridgeline smock i use for stalking, it's great but saw dust sticks to it too when using it for work, plus it wasn't Hi-vis. Swazi smock i bought seems very good so far, comfortable with the harness over the top (MEWP work), very happy so far

Sorry for late response .... got caught up with Xmas and hope everybody had a good one! I will grab a bit, split it and test the middle, she tried some other wood as well and that worked fine so it's definitely not the burner / installation which is good. Think I'm going to suggest she gets some other decent wood and keep this load to next year which will give it a chance to dry out properly and no money wasted. Cheers for everyone's help ... much appreciated!

I'm not sure about that Mick. It would be unlike the Aussies to take their foot off the gas deliberately; they take 'competiveness' to ridiculous degrees, especially against the old foe. The pitch was stupidly in all the bowlers' favour, so much so that the ICC has now assessed it as 'unsatisfactory', their second worst grading. Call me cynical but leaving the grass at 10mm long had nothing to do with the heat which is hardly a novelty in the country; it was to do with offering the most assistance to the on form Aussie bowlers. Luckily for us we bowled well too and they batted even worse than us (except for the brilliant Travis head). I anticipate Sydney with trepidation; we've now lost three front line bowlers. I'm a fan of Matt Potts; I really hope he can step up.

Don't forget to balance the flywheel when you've replaced bearings, or all your work will be in vain!

Morning all, Our three adult children descend on us later today until Friday. Lovely to see them, but cabin fever is incubating. Not working until next Monday unless I can do a small job on Saturday. Have a good week, even if too much of it is on the M25 etc Bob Z.

Well it's still here that's for sure. If I spent some money on it it would could be alright. Mind you the thing that slows me down is the hydraulics, man are they slow. Your mucking out and your having to wait for the loader to get up to height or open the grab, that can get a bit tiresome on a 5 hour stint! Saw a mates 90's John deer, 70/80hp sort of thing, looked at the price of them, bloody hell! Mcormic or case might be more in my price range.

Couger non CE, is the one I use with a BDB. I also have tachyon and x static. The Xstatic is stiff and doesn't flatten much which makes it hard work on the BDB. Fine with the RRP, but aren't they all? Tachyon is stretchy and annoying in any length more than 20m.

I've communicated positively with your posts on quite a few occasions but I can't agree in any way with this,... except to say that she thought exactly the same as me regarding the Islamist's stated aim of the Islamifacation of the western world and all that goes along with it. Frankly, the fact that she was found guilty of anything speaks volumes as to just how far the justice system in France and moreover the rest our ' civilised ' society has been infiltrated by the Globalist Cabal and their anti Human agenda. We live in a disarmed, disabled country where the Trojan horse of multiculturalism is allowing an invasion of cnuts who wish death on us. This is not just a UK problem, It's a global assault on humanity and in general where common sense is vilified and total nonsense is portrayed as truth. Feckin hell, WTF's wrong with your self defence radar... has it blown a fuse ???
