  1. Today
  2. Mark if you are asking you are in doubt about the job. Surly the customer gets to say what they want if its down to you use a proper decking board with groves and tanalized timber. Pressure treated stuff will last 10 years without an issue. Put a light fall on the decking so water can run off job done.
  3. Yesterday
  4. Well our minds truly ended up in the gutter on that one all I wanted was opinions on grooves or not in the decking boards its a raised deck about 5ft off the ground
  5. Some of the tadpoles in the pond we dug last summer are almost thinking about growing legs. Edit to add: I've just counted, there's bloody loads of them.
  6. Planted this paulownia tree (foxglove) a few years back. Flowering for the first time this year.
  7. That moth looks pretty special. Is it the emperor moth?
  8. Yeah, I feared it would be one of those, "It depends." answers.
  9. It varies an awful lot, especially depending on where you are from, but some people call the bottom of the hind legs hocks and the front legs hands. Some people call them both hocks. Noone calls the back legs hands. Some people call the front hock the knuckle instead, particularly when it is cut smaller. The hand as a roasting joint often contains a bit more meat from further up the shoulder, but not necessarily. It could be called the hand and spring, if cut to include even more from higher up the shoulder. Just the same as the question "is it a shrimp or a prawn?", the answer is more based on geography than the animal.

    Jokes???

21&3 for me but it was a cortina with 2 brothers outside the pub do I get a extra point for being brought back from a farm sale sat in a old wardrobe in the back of said cortina with some plough spares? I also remember lifting the mats in the back and watching the road go by through the holes in the floor! Arr the good old days 🤣
  12. Ive never seen a piston with that type of damage before. As suggested it looks like a plug fault/ timing issue due to the damage on the crown and intake side of the piston. Any chance something has broken away and been sucked into the engine?
  13. Mixed feedback on the 2 in 1, some people love them and some hate them. It doesnt look like you have a Stihl chain, apologise if it is, but I know that they dont work so well on other branded chains from customer feedback which is that they take the rakers down too much. I have never used one myself so im not sure if too much downward pressure would cause the issue but I imagine that it would. The other thing that has just occurred to me is that if the chain needs a good grind back then once the first tooth is taken back quite a bit it may be lowering the flat file a bit too much while sharpening the second tooth. If that makes any sense.
  14. Belly strips for special occasions. We had a load of family over for either my 18th or 21st birthday. Hungover as hell.
  15. This suggests not - I'd not heard of the Hand before, so thanks for that little gem.
  16. I don't know, not particularly good on my meat cuts.
  17. Wordle 1,047 5/6 ⬜⬜🟩⬜🟩 ⬜🟨🟩⬜🟩 ⬜⬜🟩🟩🟩 ⬜⬜🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 And I thought it was going to be all gravy at the second line.
  18. As ADW says it could be a mismatch. Post a pic of the worm wheel showing a top down view and the drum showing the part that locates into the worm wheel. You can see the differences in the drum here Clutch Drum Assy - Husqvarna 575261005 SKYLANDEQUIPMENT.COM Clutch Drum Assy for Husqvarna chainsaws. * PLEASE NOTE: 560XP Only fits upto serial number 20202200048 * From serial number 20202200049 please use part number 575 26 10-09... 19. Warranty is 12 months from date of sale, however warranty is a fault in materials or manufacture, I would say the melting was due to a bad connection between the cigarette lighter and the adapter causing an arc and heat build up.
  20. Spud did this to my 365xt, definitely worth doing as it woke the saw up considerably.
  21. scbk

    WOW

If it's anything like my house, they probably got a woman to check for sawdust in the washing machine
  22. Just one additional point, the early 550/560 had the black oil pump, the gear was driven by some spikes in the back of the sprocket, the later white pump had a gear driven by the splines of the sprocket, so have we got/ had a mix and match of sprockets, pumps and gears?
  23. Is a hock the same as a hand btw? Mum used to swear by hands as a cheap cut that punches above its weight because of the bone.
  24. I know somebody who was nicked for a quantity of contraband and when it came to charging time it was a half of what there was, Who's going to argue with that?
  25. I've acquired the peppers but I also only got in the door from band practice twenty minutes ago. The allure of the 10p bargain was too strong.
  26. Oh well, points for a slight effort I suppose. It was chicken, and it was curry flavour.
