  1. Past hour
  2. You have had more than enough good advice here. Ring up your local hire place and ask for a strimmer/brushcutter/clearing saw with an engine more than 45cc in size and with a metal blade, ideally mulching blade, but others will work. I wouldn't waste your money buying non-branded two stroke machinery, generally they dont last.
  3. Nice three today Wordle 1,588 3/6* ⬜⬜⬜🟩⬜ ⬜🟩🟨🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  4. Today
  5. Presumably it's diesel, then any dealer with the engine model. Or as suggested green plant or similar, but best knowing engine type etc.
  6. Message sent
  7. Give Greenplant a shout, always very helpful
  8. Anything will be better than what you're trying to use now. That Webb thing is a hedge cutter though, not much point in getting that unless you to plan to do more hedge cutting than ground clearance. As already said you need a Clearing Saw, Brush Cutter, or even a decent petrol Strimmer at a push. Or just hand tools and muscle.
  9. Morning all, Flu jab this morning, then some office work. Looking at a large ash with die back this afternoon. In the hedge between field and garden. Farmer wondered if we could push it over with a loadall. I explained that it was not a good idea to be standing next to the trunk doing a back cut while a machine pushes on it. Sounds like use the mewp to get crown off is a safer plan.
  10. Mesterh would like it if there was only one word, so he could get the occasional 3.
  11. Ditto. I almost instantly forget the word as soon as I'm done. It's weird. For me, they probably only need 7 answer words and 50 guess words.
  12. I’ve already forgotten today’s word Wordle 1,588 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟩🟨🟨⬜🟨 🟩🟩⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

I haven't had any for a couple of years but before then it would come in fits and starts.

1st time poster. Signed up recently as a tip site, just wondered how frequently people get wood dropped off?
  15. Really sorry to hear about the loss of all this gear -you must be really gutted... Well done for listing out all the details of it too -if it's any consolation, you'll now have lots of Arbtalk's 'eyes' looking out for it. Also, a useful reminder for me -and all of us, to be mindful of our vehicle security/complacency!
  16. What happened to that storm that was going to come? Looks clear out! Last official day with GreenMech. They are collecting their stuff which suits me. So Jase, I won't be able to shake your hand and give you a man hug in thanks for what you did to help or wish you well face-to-face on the next bit of the journey! But please do pass on my best to Raf, Will, Sylvestor, Pete, Tomek, Ian and everyone else in the building today! Next summer, I'll get Tom to scoop us both up to go to the AA Show and we can have a few beers, that's if they can get a decent beer spot of course! Be good y'all! Wreck, Hoard, Braking.

  21. I need a new exhaust for my tracked 150, ones for the trailed one say they don't fit the tracked version, What's the difference? I remember sometime when I looked previously the tracked exhaust was more expensive 🫰🏻
  22. Good Morning Bit cooler and planes especially noisy this morning. Have a great pre-weekend.

  24. Morning all. Just two of us working today, hope to knock the last of the remaining storm jobs off the list, small stuff. Went North yesterday for an assessment, took the opportunity to stop at the David Stirling memorial on the way back, quite a location. Have a good one folks.
  25. Weather cleared a bit for today, back to work thankfully.
