Thread revival / update! So by chance I managed to find a second hand high output oiler (part number 11286403250). This is sometimes called a 1:1 oiler, meaning it uses 1 tank of oil to 1 tank of fuel rather than about 0.8 of an oil tank. I used the saw for a few hours yesterday and I can confirm this was how much oil it was using. I am a bit cautious about letting it run out of fuel/oil totally, for obvious reasons, but the saw was oiling even better. It seems really odd that this saw needs extra oil for a 20 inch bar, but if thats what it takes to avoid the bar nose seizing up, I dont mind.

I was considering an 'end of year' report for Trump, but given his overwhelming failure to meet any of his election promises to the workers of the US, the summary would be 'F - can do better'. However will let the election in Texas do the talking where the newly elected Democrat - in Texas - the first time for a Democrat to take that seat in decades had a 25% swing. If the Republican heartlands are voting Democrat with that amount of change I think that is all we need to know of his successes. Trump had selective amnesia from giving an endorsement a couple of weeks ago to "I didn't know there was an election". Dementia kicking in or he is a liar?

Best technique.

That was the worst aspect of it I thought of.

Rig it negatively and charge accordingly for a non impact job. Count the monies, get your mates to help as there are more numbers than fingers. Job done.

STIHL launches new high-performance, SGA 60 battery-powered sprayer
Steve Bullman posted a record in News
STIHL has expanded its sprayer offering with the launch of the SGA 60, designed to combine operator comfort with automatic and precise liquid distribution. Built for groundskeepers, landscapers and gardeners, the model removes the requirement for manual pumping, delivering consistent pressure throughout the spraying task. Providing a working pressure of up to 4.5 bars, the SGA 60 uses the STIHL AK System battery and features a 15-litre tank capacity. Its five nozzles enable users to tailor the spray pattern depending on the application, whether applying fertilisers or other solutions across a variety of areas. With a quick-change feature, professionals can choose between single, double, quadruple, fan-jet, and adjustable modes, ensuring effective coverage specific to the application. Ease of use is at the heart of the SGA 60’s design, with straightforward pressure controls, an intuitive ON/OFF switch and a clear battery charge indicator. Additionally, padded shoulder straps, back support, and a hip harness evenly distribute weight for minimal strain, allowing for comfortable use. The 2026 addition arrives as STIHL celebrates its 100th anniversary. Since 1926, STIHL has defined the global standard for battery and petrol-powered forestry, landscaping, and residential gardening equipment for professional and domestic users. I want one now! As you say, it would be great for wider hedge reductions, especially the overstood stems. 0.9, 1.6 or 2.2m? You’d want all three!

An even simpler system is just telling the customer the lawn ‘may have a few dents in it’ and avoid negative rigging completely.

In addition to the above you are removing approx 50% of the length of the working line. We all should know on sketchy trees the more rope is in the system the safer it can be.
