While Andrew is pulling all the news time, something is happening in politics - Angela Rayner is back? Reeves levies more taxes on the working class? Starmer hides the fact that Mandy is getting off? Greens beat Labour in local elections? The cost of the benefits given to immigrants is hidden?

Bishop of Lincoln arrested in sexual assault inquiry Bishop of Lincoln Stephen Conway arrested in sexual assault inquiry WWW.BBC.CO.UK Right Reverend Stephen Conway has also been suspended by the Church of England. And there was me thinking that it was acceptable for the clergy to do whatever they wanted, sexually.

Also a lot of chatter on the internet today that Andrew is going to spill the beans on very rich men who raped children in the US... I wouldn't be to hopeful that he will - unlike in that BBC interview he will have had a lawyer there to keep the interview on topic "misconduct in a public office"... So not sure he will be squealing unless there is some plea dealings going on... which a high profile case like this they would be very very careful to offer him anything, or have an inkling of bigger fish to go after and just needing the inside details.

Firewood Cage From Reinforcing Mesh
Steven P replied to Steve Bramwell's topic in Log burning stoves and fireplaces
I reckon you could do something like that, each pallet has 2 edges with mesh and a door section, lined up (imagine my sketch as it is without the missing side added). My piles are maybe half pallet width thick, but angled so the wind blows all the way along, it wouldn't concern me too much having a long line of these set up. If you were moving them on a Friday afternoon before the pub I'd perhaps put some more pallet wood across ways, half height and top height? to add some strength to each side. Thinking of that, might need to look tomorrow, I wonder how many slats you would need to use to hold it in place instead of mesh - using what comes to hand you see. Heavier, but sturdier, maybe cheaper build but more time consuming removing the slats in one piece (discounting just bunging pallets together, which would be heavy and I've never found a way I am happy to fix them together) Quick comment on the circular ones... outdoor space is a premium so while circle is more efficient mesh / volume there are the missing corners that the pallets use up... costs a little more in materials but uses up less land area. All I need to do is finish one or 2 of the other 100 projects on the go just now to make space to try this. -
Shouldn't unseated princes be raising armies and marching on London?

That was where his problems came from, an inability to understand what he can yak to his mates about, and what he canβt.

Maybe it's nostril hair, maybe it's Bolivian marching powder. Whoever took that photo is probably set for life.

Can't help with that question, sorry, but a 14hp Husqvarna rider will tow a 12m Niftylift MEWP on grass! π

My thoughts were that it looks like someone who doesn't have English as a first language, possibly Eastern European?

As a colleague said to me once: "I think brakes are vastly overrated"

They are designed for it. My Hilux tows 3,500kg regularly, no problem at all. Rangers to the same I am sure. No offence, but this almost looks like a bot posting. Don't know if anyone else feels that way?

Why not Dm him Pat? That is what the message asks.

I used to use some modified instructions from speaking with other experienced splicers. I am away at the moment and(also) havenβt spliced for a couple of years. I would have to have a look in my splicing manual which is back at home as I had all the modifications and measurements written in that. The main take away was the splices were break tested by other people and were stronger or as strong as the original instructions but the final bury and cover taper made it easier to finish the splices.

Firewood Cage From Reinforcing Mesh

So basically a metal mesh on top of a pallet that won't rot. So basically an IBC, there was a guy on YouTube that even cut out one rung section on the front for access. -
It does look like the Echo if you squint.

While I do not feel at all sad for him, I do wonder how many more politicians will cone under the spot light for improper conduct in public office? He cannot be the only one to forward information to an unauthorised recipient surely?

Had an idea that they gad 500kg capacity? They might tow okay but it is the stopping that can be fun!
