  6. Not for a few years now mate, I should probably change that 🙄
  7. @Steve Bullman your arbtalk personal information says freelance climber, still true?
  8. Wild Rose, (Dog or Sweet Briar I think, or let's just say Rosa sp.), growing through Blackthorn or anything else is also quite tough to get through. Nigh on impenetrable without tools I reckon. Less than 50:50 chance of OP returning is my wager.

  10. Having spent the last couple of days clearing blackthorn and bramble I'd recommend thinking twice before planting anywhere where you need access, such as along fencing if you need access to maintain it. But if you want impenetrable, without wire, the humble honeysuckle growing through blackthorn took some hacking back. With the added bonus it's good for dormice. Anyway, does anyone think the OP is coming back?
  11. Brian . 🙂
  12. razor wire is not illegal, there are conditions of use, but if they are complied with it's legal.

Equally happy to show our gratitude for the logs if you are able to drop any. If there is a car there please call and we can either move or tip on the grass to the side of the driveway and I will retrieve them straight away. Many thanks.

  18. Cutty mc.Cutface ? 😁
  19. or bore cut or plunge cut?
  20. Yes it's what Husqvarna call sweep around ( or something like), with the inclusion of the letterbox bore.
  21. Did did you get it sorted ? I’ve looked through my 325 manual and can’t see any guidance on spring settings.
  22. Thanks for the recommendations guys I've been too busy to update my online portfolio in quite a while...heres a few of my more recent sites (click on the image to visit) Not a tree surgery website but one i'm quite proud of in terms of looks and performance We also offer brochure design Vehicle sign writing
  23. I'd call that a letterbox. I think the letterbox name mainly refers to the bit you bore in through the back of the gob (that sweeps the middle of the tree out) but if you're doing that bit then you're doing the rest of it.
  24. Cheers guys for the replies !
  25. @BillQ Take it this bunch are innocent in your eyes too.
