  2. Having gone through this a couple of years ago, then without a medical its no more 7.5 tonnes or small PSV but OK for a Landrover and 3.5 ton trailer. Not driven a 7.5 tonner for maybe 30 years so no loss, did occasionally drive 17 seat minibus but the organisation that ran them has a 69 max driving age, so again no problem. A

  5. Lighten up Anus and I don’t mean bleach it. An interesting article 😂 Escorted there bussed out, several high ranking retired officers have expressed serious doubts about the command decisions taken on the day. As for the icon comment by another member, that leads on easily to some humour ya boring fart. Jibes about chasing old granny’s online don’t offend me so a joke about being a wrong un shouldn’t get you too excited. “ homophobia “ 😂😂😂put it on the list 👍 Try watching the video, take off your left wing blinkers and wake up. May I be as bold to suggest that an ex Met DCI member get just have a bit more understanding of policing than an Arbtalk libtard.
  6. Morning all, Going up to 26 degrees here today. Went to Pirtek hydraulics yesterday (I know they are not the cheapest, but there are nearby and always have the right fittings in stock) and asked them to fit a flow reduction valve in a very new looking hose off my hedgecutter. Said company policy was make a new hose only, wanted about £170 for a 4m hose. I managed to sqeeze the valve into a tight spot on top of the valve block. Bloke was very helpful sorting the fittings for this, but their policy is either litigation paranoia or profiteering as far as I can see.
  7. Good morning Arbtalkers and happy Friday 😊

  9. Another low point in a very dodgy series of posts we can now add homophobia to the list of bulls£%t he spouts. An interesting article if you can open your mind - How violent protests in Epping are being fuelled by disinformation | UK news | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM Claims Essex police force bussed in antiracism activists have been denied but have spread on social media and rightwing news channels
  10. It's a great place btw, Trebah Garden. Lovely garden in a lovely setting. Huge collection of big tree ferns and an interesting WW2 history. Home - Trebah Garden WWW.TREBAHGARDEN.CO.UK Welcome to Trebah Garden - a 26 acre sub-tropical paradise with a private beach, situated near Falmouth in Cornwall.
  11. Any South Park fans here? ‘South Park’s most furious episode ever’: the jaw-dropping Satanic takedown of Donald Trump | Television | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM They’ve depicted the president’s privates. They’ve shown him in flagrante with the devil. The makers of the foul-mouthed US cartoon have certainly thrown down the gauntlet …
  12. I completely agree. Sadly though we don't seem to have a government or a PM with balls and teeth. France is at least trying to do some sorting. France to recognise Palestinian state in September WWW.BBC.CO.UK France to become the first G7 state to recognise the state of Palestine, as Israeli PM Netanyahu condemns decision.

  22. Morning Team. Off to see a tree bloke who we done a big favour too who is going to kick me in the shins! Moral of the story? Tell them how much the repair is before you bend over! Have a good day y'all! Bill, Leap, Hyper.
  23. Bit beyond me to do that tbh. We have a brilliant Hydraulic shop in the nearby town. Admittedly the pipe was €70, but it still beats having it sit in the corner of some tractor suppliers workshop for 3 weeks and a €600 bill (for work done by the apprentice)
  24. i bought a pipe swager and pipe and common fittings a couple of years back now, great investment and such a time saver. plus the cost of pipes (obviously excluding the setup costs) is phenomenally cheap, for example a 1m hose with a fitting on each end costs me about £7
