Ok, you were talking about track and trace hence my response in regards to it. As mentioned by others a cashless society is more of a concern IMO. Your bank gets hacked, your card won't work and your screwed. I always use cash where possible, especially for small business like the corner shop but when doing the big shop it's easier to use a card than carry £200 about, especially since there are less and less ATMs about. I was reading something the other day about all the cyber attacks and that AI makes it far easier for the hackers. Big corps targeted atm like JLR, airports etc but it might not be long before they can and will attack everyone and anyone.

Looking for flail for small tractor
GarethM replied to Alan Smith's topic in Forestry and Woodland management
Erm, think you might be reading someone else's experience, not saying I don't like flails for the job they can do or the relatively low damages from it eating things. Low hp tractors such as the op are definitely topper type, without it becoming tediously slow. I will be going back to a topper with a smaller fergy tractor, my 80+ hp with a 2m flail on ground that makes a goat clench when you're 14ft off the floor doing overgrown scrub is boring. Trying to get back to managed pastures, flying around after a bit of sheep grazing. -
Yeah, on the few occasions I've used one that did happen and did annoy a bit. Offset by the general luxuriousness though. I enjoy a quick taste of the high life if someone else has one.

Looking for flail for small tractor

I have had the opposite experience. 20+ years ago briefly used a finger bar mower on a Forsdon Power Major, then a disc mower on same tractor, then a 6ft Major topper, well built and solid. For the last 15 years I have had a 5ft hammer flail on the back of my 40hp Kubota STV40. The flails have picked up a metal shovel, a 12ft metal gate, hit 8-10 inch diameter logs in the undergrowth. None of these events have damaged to flails. Today I was flailing a paddock and had to crown raise a sycamore at the edge of it. Maximum diameter of branch was 2.5 - 3 inches. I just put the brash and branches on the ground and pulverised it with the flail. Italian made, not Chinese. -
Yes, is that the right terminology? You set yourself up in postion, then try to move a bit for whatever reason and the rope has trickled through the ZZ and you are locked in place.
-
That it does it itself?

Hate the self-tending of the ZZ.

Women and children first is the generally accepted norm with most people 🤷♂️ Two women die during failed Channel crossing attempt APPLE.NEWS Authorities say the pair died off the coast of northern France after about 100 people set off by makeshift boat.

Ok fair enough, good to know.

They are very different in construction and feel. I have both
-
Yep, me.

Just looked that up, never seen it before but looks really good. I really like the smooth progressive release on a hitch, but went for RRP to allow switching from DRT to SRT. Seems the Freexion is also designed to allow that. Tempting, really tempting.

I have it in my head that Tree Austria make the Stein Vega harness. Certainly looks very similar, would like to know if they are really the same as I'm on a Vega but don't like the yellow they put on the new one so could switch.

Pete North arrested yesterday for sharing a meme online. I would post the link, but I really can’t work out how to. What was he arrested for? Sharing a meme which is obnoxious towards Palestine and Muslims. What he posted was pretty stupid, but is this really what we want the police to do?

Just to avoid any confusion and to show the content of the whole post not a selectively edited portion, the above is what I actually posted. The context of which is very very different to the edited version posted by a particularly weak shit stirring anonymous individual.

Just thinking about this "right to work" ID cards which every employer will have to record when the calculate their workers taxable income and availability to work....... Back when I was a youth, I got given a unique number which the state used to identify me, my address, age, tax status etc. This, I believe, is still needed for employment and is called a National Insurance Number. Let's just say, "if ain't got one, you cannot get a job, benefits, NHS services and can deported that afternoon along with any dependants no matter where they where born! Would that work? Or are we better off waiting for these cards to be issued within the next 5 years?

A one dog ground clearance machine in the making - I expect to see him on arbtalk touting for work sometime soon. He doesn't seem half as stupid as you've led us to believe in the past. 😁 -
I can’t pay for my hookers and coke with chip and pin either.

I am not talking about fantasy newspaper headlines and their bullshit predictions. I am talking about actual behaviour, banning your best friends from family BBQ’s because they didn’t have the jab, and such like. The Government cancelling Christmas with a few days notice, whilst partying behind closed doors, and people going along with it. I have lost all faith in people making a stand in the UK.
