Nope, just the fastest option they have. To be honest though. every time the speed goes up ive not really noticed any difference. You only need to speed to reach a certain level to stream...beyond that seems a waste unless you're downloading and uploading huge files constantly. Most people aren't

I hope you have TV and other things as part of that?

I cannot answer about starlink but I have fibre to the premises for a week or so now and I bought a VOIP Analogue to Telephone Adapter (grandstream HT812 as my provider advised against some cheaper ones) to keep my landline number and it just seems to work. There are various divert and voicemail options, that I have not investigated, all for an additional £4/month.

im thinking about switching. Our BT is £75 a month at the moment...i'd rather pay my money to someone looking to do good in the world.

I'm interested in the Starlink option. My broadband with BT goes up to nearly £40 a month at the end of March and I don't even get a landline. How different is it to a TV satellite dish? My house is surrounded by trees and TV sats don't work very well. I have to use a digital aerial and freeview. Wouldn't want to pull the pin if it isn't going to work.

I wish I could find some decent waterproofs for hedgelaying that are breathable and tough enough that they won't be ripped to bits by thorns on the first day. Impossible quest it seems.

Your best bet will be a Bulldog or Morris hook from an agri-merchant at this short notice. Stihl also make a billhook of sorts, so an agri store that's also a Stihl dealer may offer a choice. None of them will be much good though and you'll need to spend about half a day putting a usable edge on them. If green heart above can sort you out with a working vintage hook that would probably be the best option.

Thatched cottage on corner. Turn onto Henfords Marsh and our big yard is immediately on your left, lots of space for turning and tipping. lLooking for firewood mainly but happy to accept woodchips

They make quite a big range, as i remember? I think they are easily available, but perhaps at the cheaper end of the market? Not knowing which jacket, I think you'll generally find them quite sweaty if doing treework or anything energetic in them. Others on here will recommend Swazi or similar. Have a quick look on the 'search' bar here?

You might pick up a Bulldog one or similar, from Chelford Farm supplies. There will be other farm suppliers nearer to you, tho, I'd guess ? If push comes to shove, we have several older ones here -South M/c based. DM me for contact details .

How did you find the install? Did it come with all the necessary bits and cables and were they long enough? I'd also be curious to know if it drops at all during very heavy rain, I know freesat TV can do but that's a different technology. It wouldn't put us off as our copper phone line drops in very wet weather anyway. As for you landline phone, do you need it or can you just use the mobile phone via wifi? Or route a landline number to the mobile via wifi.

Just dump it at the end of the drive or next to it. It’s fine to block the drive. Give us a ring if you need any info or help.
