  6. Thanks, for your comment, it is very helpful. I have also been thinking about wood chip and inadvertently spreading diseases from one site to another.

  16. Morning all. Predictably pinged awake like a ferret up a drainpipe this morning, it's the weekend after all. Nothing planned, the chores list exists but feels like it'll end up being breakfast at the cafe and a lazy day. Have a good one folks.
  17. Quite start to the day. Slept well for me! Enjoy your Saturday! Undies, Served.
  18. Scottish brothers cross the Pacific 140 days non stop rowing! What a feat its surprising what young people will endure for others as they raise around 700 000 for a water charity in Madagascar. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c9876y4z4rgo
  19. Oh dear, you do have a thing about botties dontcha? Repressed latent homosexual tendencies?
  20. It doesnt have a H like a chainsaw just L and idle. The standard setting for L is open one turn, then adjust idle so the cutters dont move. If you cant get to this stage quickly or the machine isnt idling, I’d start looking for air leaks.

  23. I am doing this... kind of... along the back fence a good layer of wood chip to break down but then level the ground enough to mow the brambles, nettles etc that grow through the fence - ground level is all over the place at the moment - point is, in some cases it can work... but not on their own. Depends on the weeds you get you might consider ways to embrace them or use what grows there as a guide to what plants to plant as replacements
  24. You're an old man, must have met thousands of people in your time. Did you ever meet a 'furry', ever talk to one? Have you ever been scared by a person wearing a onesie? To be honest, I am a lot younger than you, the thousands of people I have met are perhaps more my era, and I have never met one either. Scared of what is statistically improbable in society? Enough to make an issue of it? Perhaps time to leave the pages of the printed press, the Telegraph, Mail and Express and come back to reality to check it out every now and then. 'Alphabet people'.. again, so a man might like to touch another man - what is there about that that makes them different to you or me? Again a fear propagated by the press you read I suspect, come to the real world, it really isn't that scary. ... I say scary.... you appear in you messaging more aggressive than a lot on here.. and yet there you are, scared shitless by what people do in their bedrooms.
  25. Depending on how much Influence people like Musk and Thiel wield in the UK, a surveillance state is exactly what they have in mind. Palantir is a red flag, and the fact Mandelson is involved should raise eyebrows.
  26. Yes I understand that. I’ve set a few chainsaws up. Normally there is a separate hi and low. And a separate LA for the idle. Unsure how the high and low can be controlled by one screw.
  27. Well yeah, loads of people drive around without a seatbelt and dont have an accident or fly out of the windscreen until they do. There is a fairly good reason why these safety devices are in use. And its not because Big Seatbelt, Big Chain brake or Big White Finger are cashing in.
  28. Im not so sure. Harold Shipman didnt identify as a furrie and he was probably the biggest serial killer in our times. Just like these guys List of serial killers by number of victims - Wikipedia EN.WIKIPEDIA.ORG And yeah, walkin down the road with the wrong type of dog and you should face the consequences for sure. Those people can fck right off. Although I do agree with the bit about having people on a watch list and waiting and waiting until something happens which is all a little too late. But then again some people complain about big brother, big government watching over us, they cant have it both ways.
