We are looking for a climber and people interested in other aspects of countryside maintenance work! If you're just interested in climbing (and have your relevant tickets), do get in touch. But if you're interested in the other aspects too, that would be a bonus. Anyone else who is interested in only the other aspects, get in touch too! We offer a wide range of services across the north York moors (based near Whitby) including tree surgery, tree planting, brushcutting, knapsack spraying. We've got a large planting contract starting soon and its a lot of work! So more than happy to hear from a good number of you. Here's a link to the indeed post for a little more information: Just a moment... UK.INDEED.COM Thanks!

A high lift jack can be handy for shrubs like that but you do need something to grab with a chain or get under with the beak.

It has always confused me that with more automation, computers, robots, faster cars and tractors, all this tech, that we need to retire at 70 and not let the machines take over, retire at 50.

Conifers like that not usually too deep, too late now but next time if you're digging yourself then leave a stem on each stump as a lever. Nowadays I'd grind them, but you have youth on your side - just keep digging and chopping.

A large percentage of the workforce is about to be made redundant. The idea that robots and computers could make life better for everyone was a viable one, until billionaires appeared and decided to hoard everything instead,

That’s stock - factory model (high boy) and yes that’s the year give or take. yea of course in America - seen the exact RAM you’re describing with a framework carrying a sand buggy on the back/roof 🤣

I have no clue on how that would work. Im not saying its a bad idea but relying on the state for a hand out and relying on big corps to feed into the pot doesnt fill me with any confidence that it will work. Although it would have to work as consumers with no money to buy stuff are worthless. Its no good Amazon having a fully functioning, streamlined automated AI robotic workforce with no end consumers.
-
What licence !! Maybe in the states but definitely not here. I do like them though. Cummins diesel ram in rhd would be nice but I don’t have a spare £100k plus kicking around

It might be a possibility. Once its ran for X amount of hours at X amount of workload it could shut down until its been serviced by an approved dealer. Or it might know who the operator is and how much runtime they have had and shut down due to HAVS or book them on to a refresher course etc. etc. Or if they smack the chain brake on too many times it will give them an electric shock to teach them a lesson!

They weren't jacked up like that ,these were the stock units , 1960s units not later 80s like that .. these were the above engines and both autos, has it got to be a 1980s unit .

comfortably carry - 1.5/2t and tow up to 8t . V8 5.9L engine and it’s a dream car that I want to customise slightly (lights and paint). Some may say crude, I say cool and a true pick up.
-
Is it that horrid ,wide, crude looking thing that can only carry 250kgs ? Either a v8 or a straight 4 configuration? If so one of my friends sold one recently ! The is someone also locally that messes around with them local to me but dont think he sells them

As above, cannot see a petrol 8” chipper on their website.
-
I didn't know that there was a petrol option for the ST8. Im not normally a fan of petrol engine chippers but having used the 57hp Kubota powered Timberwolf 280 my mind has been changed. Performance could easily be confused for a diesel although I do wonder about longevity of a petrol chipper compared to a diesel. If your impressed with the ST6p then if the St8p has the same Kubota petrol you will be blown away. I'm not sure the ST8 would be my choice in 8 inch machines but I do know why people like them.

Thanks stubby, seems to be okay at the moment, least of my worried with this tractor!

From what Ive read AI is and is going to be replacing jobs in the very near future so its probably justified in that respect. Not that its good news for the vast majority of us though! If you google which jobs has ai replaced it is a bit of grim reading. Nearly all manual worker jobs are safe for now but the way I see it if there is less call for admin based jobs due to AI replacing them then there will be a hell of a lot of people looking to work in the manual labour sector. Not good in the long run for any type of job.

At least spelling errors tell me these posts are not AI. I wonder if you can tell AI to mis-spell random words to make it look human produced?! I have all the original Tom & Jerry on one DVD, with all the proper characters, such as the large black woman before she was replaced by a woke alternative. I actually bought it for my kids before they discovered YouTube.

did you see the clip of Trump this week moaning that the Ukraine had targeted one of Putins houses, he was very upset, and very much ignored the thousands of Ukrainian homes destroyed by the Russians. I reckon Putin cannot admit to doing badly - he has built his whole persona on being the tough guy - from his calendar shots bare topped horse riding, bear wrestling type things, cannot back down, so yes will keep going at it till spent or till the Russian Generals have a quiet word with him, tower block open window accident style.

More lead in this one, 280g. I'll add a steel ring on each, would have been better to buy them in advance and insert while it was printing.. While I've been trimming hedges today I left the printer on, I now have A pair of Stuka sirens.
