  1. Past hour
  2. Haha ! Crikey, you're not wrong there... but why didn't you just spray it, with a selective herbicide, before it started flowering?? Those hogweed seeds last up to 10 years... it's surprising how far they sometimes travel, too.. Apologies for the thread derail !
  3. Yeah, well maybe you’re not real man.
  4. I'll have to have a go with that catalyst, looks like less sitback. Also looks short enough to work in rope wrench, I never spent much time working on it but didn't really find a good knot and then just went RRP.
  5. I’m not convinced it’s a genuine word. Wordle 1,561 5/6 🟨⬜🟩⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩🟨🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  6. Also don’t waste your money on friction cord with a spliced eye each end
  7. So with the markets rebounding you've actually made more than you've lost on your investments?
  8. As per Steve's advice. Get a hitchclimber setup. Learning knotcraft in your early years will be invaluable. Hitchclimber with a 70-75cm eye to eye with a catalyst hitch is my go to.
  9. I knew I shouldn't have started. No I'm not saying it's to stop illegal working, its the government saying that. It is part of the government's strategy to stop or slow down illegal migration, it isn't a stand alone strategy. Start with making it harder for people to get employment and the uk is not a good place to go to for those who want to exploit the system, on top of that I'm sure that the laws around employers who have illegal workers will be tightened. This will have a knock on effect meaning less opportunity for criminal activities such as tax evasion and money laundering and human trafficking. I'm trying to show you how I see it, however you are the one putting up incorrect statements and barriers saying "how will it work?" No obfuscation, I have said from the start I want to make it as clear as possible for you.
  10. Wordle 1,561 4/6 ⬜🟨⬜🟨⬜ ⬜🟩🟩🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  11. Good morning Arbtalkers 😊
  12. Today
  13. Good morning Milling today, hope it says dry and mild. Reward might be small beer later. Donkey needs a carrot. Have a restful day.
  14. When he first announced his tarriff thing I lost 2K overnight from an investment ISA . To be fair it has recently recovered and some .
  15. Morning munchkins . It seems mild out there . Happy Saturday .
  16. Wordle 1,561 2/6 ⬜🟩🟩🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  17. Up early, Igor has taken to early morning barking, so theres no point in both of us not sleeping. I did Wordle in three though…So theres that!
  18. Morning, stepsons heading off on his a road school trip, dropping him off at the bus in 45 mins.dark and dry outside
  19. Wordle 1,561 3/6 🟩⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩⬜🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  20. You'll have to wait til they've written into the Guardian and asked how they should respond to such a question. Check back in a week or two to see what witless retort they're instructed to go with.
  21. I charged $4800 cad.
  22. I've already put up ' The bluest blues ' on here at least twice, so maybe I shouldn't post it again. 👍👍
  23. Yesterday
  24. To quote another member “ Obfuscation “ alert ‼️ Care to explain how you see this actually working. I’ll try again eh seeing as you are struggling. So you are now saying it’s actually to stop them working once here and not actually deter illegal cross border immigration 🤷‍♂️ Are you that naive to believe that those hiring or working illegally won’t continue to do so.
  25. Wanting (desperately needing) a new harness. Been down the honey bros in Guildford few weeks ago but didn’t have any Tree Austria’s ready for me to try. Just come back from the new forest on a road trip family holiday and dropped in to their store and again didn’t have any. Tried the notch catalyst which was comfy, then a DMM which was uncomfortable and 500 quid. Climbed off a treehog harness for a couple years then my current Skylotec which is nice but old as hell. Anyone have experience with the TreeAustria? Cheers
  26. at first glance i thought someone had been doing a spot of chainsaw carving
  27. it won't take long for them to make forgeries for the rubber boat people
  28. That's the problem, a couple of days back, seems like a lifetime, you got totally lost when I quoted you and got all het up thinking I said it when it was your words. Just a bit of preamble to set the scene. Right, ID cards and why the government are introducing them. Here's a screenshot of the reason, as you seem to like a screenshot... the important part is "to work in the UK " not as you said (this is your quote)... "So all of us who live here legally already with NI numbers and multiple forms of Verifiable ID being mandated to carry digital identification will stop those crossing the channel “illegally” " Can you see the difference?
