Two cracking songs. I might have had a phase of playing both on repeat when I first discovered the originals. They were well before my time, I only heard Somebody To Love because there was a dodgy dance remix played a lot on the radio about 20 years ago. Controversial! I think it sounded OK, had the same energy as the JA version. Better than this similar effort at least:-

You should watch it, a classic in its way. At least a clip of the campfire bean scene as a warning for your cooking.

I'll admit my ignorance here - I had to look that picture up. Don't think I've ever seen the film.

Any tips on limb walking difficult limbs?
tree-fancier123 replied to Lou Brown's topic in Climbers talk
I have the foam filled (high voltage) Jameson utility poles with a hook (branch lifter) on, using 2 x 6ft poles I anchor as high above as possible, walk out until I start struggling, then use the 12ft length of pole with hook over some side growth at least an inch or so and pull myself out and up the limb with the pole as a kind of bannister, then when Im close enough choke the lanyard, or lanyard halfway and repeat, been out on a horrible 45 ash limb to clear a summerhouse using the pole to pull myself up and miles (literally) out from stem Both hands on the poles, hand over hand -
Are they the " twisted " jobbies ? i.e. handed ?

Hi all, I have a load of 020, 200t and other older sthil spares. Any suggestions best place to sell them? Ebay / Market place seem not specific enough. Cheers

Thanks, and reassuringly expensive. I've just had a small victory. I've just managed to get a 16 inch brush through a flue that Id only ever managed to get an 8 inch brush through (open fire / no steel liner / just original clay lining). Id been treating somewhat sceptically with powdered flue creosote cleaner, so maybe that stuff does work after all.

On an ash tree earlier today, reduction. One limb was spread quite long and up at a real sh!t angle. And being ash it’s not the grippiest tree (not tryna make excuses) Obviously I done the donkey ride like usual- nuts squashed successfully. I had to cut it where I could in the end but my question is, is there any other methods of getting across awkward limbs? cheers
