  2. I don't understand your point. Are you saying that we shouldn't strive to be the best but should compete to be the most shit? What a fecked up view of what we should be you have. In a few short years I will hand over my tenure in this world - as you will too - to our kids, lets make a goal to leave it cleaner, better, an environment where they can see wildlife IRL (and not read about them on wikkipedia under 'extinct'), where they have an option to buy electrical shit - and use it- and not be limited to dwindling resources (like the coal you are pushing here, but also the oil and gas that gets you going too). Your attitude appears to always be "We are not the most shit, lets race to be the lowest" Fecked up.
  3. Charwood lead the world in stove design , technology, and efficiency. They always pull well even on difficult/short flues. Made from scratch on the Isle of White by a family company. A
  4. Ronnie Rondell, stuntman on fire on the Pink Floyd album, Wish You Were Here.
  5. All the money we spend on defence, a waste, but unthinkable what Hitler would have done if no one decided to fight. A real misguided eugenics program. There doesn't seem any way out, as Iran have learned - the country with the biggest budget is the best killer
  6. Today
  7. He never flew operationally once he recovered! Apparently, medics had to give him blood while still sat in the pilots seat too!

  10. John Cruickshank, the last surviving WW2 VC winner aged 105. Flew a Catalina flying boat and when attacking a German submarine made two runs on his target, got strafed pretty badly, navigator killed, recieved 72 injuries, sunk the sub, and made sure the aircraft got back to base. Rarely spoke about it. A real hero who really did put his life on the line.

  15. Not special, it used to come as a kit of three pipes they were different diameters, as you say it was sold by all the Husqvarna brands, the Husqvarna was known as a Mondo, the manufacturer was Poulon in the US.
  16. I haven't got as far as the song but the intro is banging: Nail on head here, I think.
  17. This black and white one is closest but not quite old enough . The original was more basic . With a simple single picking on the A chord between verses . I used to have it on a mono LP but its long gone now .
  18. @Stubby Next generation of Grace Slick.
  19. Do you know if any 4mm hose will fit or is it special?
  20. Never liked the aa, some of the people they approved were quite good at 'butchery' use that as a loose term for tree surgery/ aboriculture. Then also is industry best practice's coming from people who have never been in the industry -correct me if I'm wrong . Its like a club , buy in and everything will be fine -no matter what you do or have done .
  21. Stamp was good at being bad, but not as good as Charles Dance. Hope I haven't jinxed it.
  22. Here ya go, double helping of Grace.
  23. That piece you push into the return to tank hose as a belt and braces approach to stop the pipe pulling out of the tank, it is a bit of over kill really as the hose should be a tight fit in the tank.
